Today’s Thrifty Treasures

This morning I just wasn’t feelin it.  That Saturday morning urge to jump in the car and make the garage sale rounds.  I figured since I scored big the last two weeks, today would be a total bust. I ended up only going to two, but found some real treasures!

Old windows…2 bucks each! 🙂 Cha-ching! Just look at that chippy goodness.

Here’s my FAVORITE find…a vintage milking pail! Ain’t she a beauty?

An old trunk
That’s it for today’s thrifty treasures! Check back next Saturday!

I just found a window, like those, with 2 panes–but no idea what to do with it–I usually paint sayings on old barn boards… but any ideas what i can do with the window?

  6. Now why can I not find such finds at the sales around here?! I would so have a loud beating heart for the vintage milk container & trunk. ( I had so many old windows, I had to “thin out” my collection when we moved here to the stone cottage).

Great finds. I love lall that chippy paint on the windows and for $2.00 each you couldn’t not buy them. I’ll stick around and look around a bit to see what you’ve found previously.

  9. I just looked at some old windows this morning, and they were 15 dollars each, needed a good washin’ and were not nearly as adorable as yours! Very well done, and I love the colors.
