one-stop shopping

Yesterday, I stopped by an estate sale. Not estate as in someone passed away. Estate as in big flippin house. It was gorgeous and the owner had fabulous taste.

The sale was held Friday and Saturday. I wasn’t able to go on Friday so I decided to see if there was anything left on Saturday.

Boy, was there.

Here’s what followed me home…

Pretty chicken rug…I love the colors in it…looks great in front of the kitchen sink.

Very large old basket. Love it.

A couple pewter pieces. Love the monogramming.

Some wreaths for the screened porch.

Some pretty fabric

Beverage dispenser. Love.

A pair of Ballard pillows new in package.

King sized quilt from Restoration Hardware in pristine condition. Love the muted colors so much.

King sized Ralph Lauren Matelasse bedspread in new condition.

Bookoodles (A Southern adjective meaning a large amount of something) of clip rings new in package. Gonna use these to hang drapes on the screened porch.

This awesome wooden bowl which I promptly filled with glass fishing floats.

That sale one was definitely one-stop shopping!

My favorite kind.

at the risk of offending your bloggy intelligence and only because this is the second photo header that you’ve had up that is still too big, if you want your header to fit in the designated space you need to resize it so the width is 900 pixels. unless you’re going for the oversized look which is totally cool too. 🙂
    love your work.

  9. Seriously? Our estate sales are grungy avocado and gold Tupperware and hooked rugs from the 1970’s and you get THIS?

    I have envy.

    Great finds.
